A memorial celebration for Mrs. Mary Reese Thomas of Tampa, who passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2016 will be held Saturday, July 2nd, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Deacon Lewis Wyche, officiating. Mary was born on September 27, 1934 to the late Robert Reese and Ruby Lee Harris in Camilla, Georgia. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crossword puzzles and reading. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Darlene Johnson (Clifford), Marion E. Cole, Anthony Williams and Michael Jerome Sylvester (Angela); step-daughter, Theresa Williams Magee; grandchildren, Lashona Sloan, Anyer M. Cole, Antonio A. Williams, Roshauna C. Sloan Young and Donald C. Spencer (Kim); great grandchildren, Carlton Sloan, Zanasia Sloan Hicks, Alvin Johnson, Aumonie Johnson, Tyvia Young, Donavan Spencer and Denisia McNair; sisters, Martha Kalup (Twin), Betty Annette Thompson and Sally Mae Hudson (A.B. Hudson); nieces, Ernestine Kalup, Willadene Wyche (Louis), Monetta Harris, Carol Platt, Othello Easley, Brenda Johnson, Jamencia Thompson, and Tamisia Harris; nephews, Oscar Kalup, Malichi Kalup, Perry Kalup and Bradly Hudson; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday for the service.
