A celebration of life for Mrs. Mary L. Dorsey Williams a resident of Tampa Florida who passed away on Monday February 3, 2020 will be held Friday February 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home with Elder Gerald Green Officiating.


Mary Dorsey Williams was a graduate of Middleton High School and a resident of the Progress Village Community Tampa, Florida for more than (80) years. Her husband Felix Williams, parents Willie L. and Mamie L. Dorsey, Brothers Willie L. Dorsey, Robert L. Dorsey, and Frederick L. Dorsey all proceeded her in death.


Mary Williams retired from James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and was an excellent cook, and gardener skills she learned from her father. She also had a love for writing in which she wrote beautiful and thoughtful poetry. She was a member of the 34th Street Church of God.


She leaves memories to be cherished by her only son Nathaniel E. Dorsey (Wilhemenia), sister Alisa Pollock, grandchildren, Arayoa Shipp, Nathaniel E. Dorsey, II (Rebecca) Eva S. Dorsey Poole, (Everton) Great-grands Brittney Mack, Keith Hopkins, Rayven Shipp, Bryanna Dorsey, Ciara Dorsey, Aaliyah Dorsey, Natori Dorsey, Kelvin Pickering, Jermiyah Brown, Cahniya Falconer, 6 Great-great grands, Nephews Robert L. Dorsey, Jr. (Fern), and Christian Pollock, Nieces Pamela K. Dorsey, Cynthia Dorsey Burt (Johnny), Karen L. Dorsey, Robin Dorsey Berry, (David), Cousins Mary Agee, and Ernest Hall, Care Takers, Maxine Harris, and Betty and Santiago Vasquez, Longtime Neighbors Shirley Griffin and Jackie Brown and other relatives.
