Mary was born on September 10, 1924, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Ed and Martha Willis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rev. John Jack Willis and Jeremiah Benjamin Willis; sisters, Annie Lee Lewars, Estella Reeves, Alberta Pinkney, and Dorothy Lee Smith; and grandchild, Kevin Reese.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Willie Maude Reese, of Tampa, Florida, and John Bryant (Stella), of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Derek Bell, Sr., Deidre Wilson-Allen, Tony Reese, and Kevin Reese; great-grandchildren, Tequila Gooding, Teshara Reese, Danielle Reese, Derek Bell, Jr., Kevin Reese, Jr., Derrick Reese, Kevin Reese, Azure Bryant, and Alex Bryant; family friend, Tonya Spann; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
