With heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Mr. Maurice Gaffney, who peacefully transitioned from his earthly labor to his heavenly reward on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Maurice will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the friendships he treasured, and the lasting memories he leaves behind. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and faith will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Maurice was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dorothy Lee Gaffney; his brother, Douglas Gaffney; his grandmother, Adele Stradford; and his grandfather, Columbus Stradford.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Bennie Gaffney and Ronald Gaffney (Gloria); his sister, Joycie Gaffney; his niece, Leandre Gaffney; his great-nephew, DeAndre William; his great-nieces and great-nephews; his cousins, Tiny Wallace and Brenda Lyles; his extended family in South Carolina; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, relatives, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.
