.A homegoing celebration for Ms. Maxine Edwards of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018, will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, Dr. B.R. Fulton, Jr., pastor, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Maxine was born September 16, 1931 in Tampa, Florida to the late Aster and Leola Bell, Sr. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, one sister and six brothers. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, 4 daughters, Lori Ann Edwards (Joe Brown), Mary Ann Hall (Linwood), Gloria Ann (Manuel) and JoAnn Norwood (Micheal); 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Rudolph Bell; 1 sister, Verdell Rodgers (Earnest); a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will dearly miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 23rd, from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the services.
