Michael, affectionately nicknamed "J.B.", was born on June 8, 1973 in Tampa, FL to Darlene Christian. He loved to spend quality time with his children and family. He loved to play basketball. His favorite football team was the Buccaneers. He loved music and going to the beach.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam Christian and Mary Francis Lee, and Theodore and Naomi Brown; uncles, Keith Christian, Freeman Harbrook, Lawrence Brown, Jerry Davis, and Elliot Harbrook; aunts, Stephanie Christian, Mary Lee, and Patricia King.

He leaves precious memories with his children, Ayanna, Malik, Michael, Jr., and Makayla Brown; grandchildren, Ricquiera, Fredriyonna, and Skylah Brown, and Marquis Green; mother, Darlene Christian; brothers, Michael, Terrance, Andre, and Roderick Brown, Donald Steadman, and Joshua Carter; sisters, Annika Christian, Darkia Brown, Annie Kwarteng, and Ciara Brown; aunts, Dorothy Poole, Brenda Reginald, Felicia Gilgeous, Carla Davis, April Harbrook, Marilyn McKinney, and Teresa Christian; uncles, Charlie Lee, Reginald Dancil, Sam, Clifford, William, and Ira Christian; nieces, Rodrisha Brown, Tajayla Brown, TaNiya Brown, Aaliyah Canady, Damoni Smith, DaMya Smith, Severia Render, Johanna Sterling, Carreyelle Richardson, Symona Harrington, DonShae Steadman, Ashaunte, Joyce, Oceaonna, Kalynn, Jae, Ebony, EShawn, and Alazne Brown; nephews, Roderick Brown, Jr., Clifton Richardson, Michael T.
