Michael was born on July 28,1988 in San Pablo, California to Bubba James Lee and Sadie Lee Spivey. His love for the outdoors was evident to anyone who joined him on one of his many fishing trips, a pastime he treasured as a moment of tranquility and joy. Mike was also the master of the grill, his BBQs were legendary gatherings of laughter, love, and mouth-watering cuisine. On quieter days, he could be found lost in the world of movies, sharing his love for cinema with those closest to him. Mike was the epitome of a loving soul, his kindness and humor radiated from him like a beacon of warmth. He was a friend to all, always ready with a joke to brighten your day or a helping hand when you needed it most. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure in his community, and his absence will be deeply felt by many.

He was preceded in death by mother, Sadie Lee Spivey.

He leaves behind a beautiful and vibrant family, Fiancé, Lakesha Stacy; cherished children, Makayla, Serenity, Harmoni , and Char'men; mother-in-law, Shawana Johnson; Arlicia West; affectionately known as Mama Dukes, and mother -in-law Tanya Stacy; fathers-in-law, Johnny Stacy, Jelani West and Mr. Howard; brother, Joshua Spivey, and Brandon Dimes; sisters, Jayla West, Sharnekeya Boykin, and Angie Spivey; great grandmother whom he loved so dearly, Mae Stacy; aunts, Rosemary Spivey, Tweety Johnson, Zaynah Abdullah, Aneesah Williams, and Bridgette Stacy; uncles, Howard Richardson, Jamaal Young, Thomas Johnson, and Kareem Abdullah; nephews, Joshua R.
