On Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Tampa, Florida, God in His infinite wisdom called unto Himself Michele Murphy.

She was the daughter of the late Rose Murphy and James B. Murphy, Sr.. Michele was born March 29, 1968, in Somers Point, New Jersey, and resided in Pleasantville, New Jersey until her relocation to Tampa, Florida in 2002. While in New Jersey she worked at Showboat Hotel & Casino
as a Scheduler. After moving to Tampa, she spent almost twenty-five years employed at Chase Bank in Tampa, Florida as a Specialty Agent. In her spare time, she loved to amuse herself with scratch offs, playing cards at Hardrock Casino in Tampa and cruising with family and friends. Her quiet time was spent going to church, reading and listening to music.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Andrew Cunningham of Lakeland, Florida; Roseanne and James Murphy of Wesley Chapel, Florida; her father James (Anita) Murphy of Tampa, Florida; her brothers James (Yvonne) Murphy Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cortez (Chris) Martin of Wesley Chapel, Florida; her sister Tara Martin of Tampa, Florida; her granddaughter Blair Asbury of Lakeland, Florida; her grandsons, Zayden Anderson of Wesley Chapel, FL and Noah Asbury of Lakeland, FL; her nieces April Murphy of Palm Beach, Florida and Diamond Blake of Wesley Chapel, Florida; her aunts Shelby (Elton) Lassiter of Odessa, FL, Deborah Bozant of Tampa, FL, Ginger Miller of Largo, FL, Jacqueline Murphy of Tampa, FL, Loretta (Ronald) Sanders, and Gail Granville from Boston, Massachusetts; her uncles, Eugene (Rebecca) Miller of Glendale, AZ and Anthony Miller of Lakeland, Fl, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and loving friends and co-workers.
