Obituary

Minister Arnold Eddie Rolle was born on May 24, 1937 to Harold and Oletha Smith-Rolle in Furnice Hill Exuma. He moved to Tampa in his early twenties. He married his first wife, Sister Carrie N. Rolle, which yielded 3 children. During this time, Arnold earned his diploma from Middleton High School. He worked many years at the Florida, Portland Cement Co until he decided to open his own business. He owned and operated Eddie's BP gas station and the 30th street fish market, both located on the corner of 30th street and Osborne.

In 1979 he met his wife, Luvone Rolle. To this marriage came 2 children. He was called to preach while attending New Mt. Zion MB Church. He was an associate Minister until 2019 when he started feeling his illness of Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's began to affect his memory. He retired from his minister duties and as a mason his contracting business approximately 10-15 years ago. Arnold enjoyed reading his bible and watching wrestling.

He leaves to mourn his demise, a loving wife of 41 years, Luvone Rolle; 6 children, Oletha R. Jones (Herbert), Beverly D. Davis (Alvin), Arnold E. Rolle, Tiffany Rolle, Steven Rolle and Sheril Boyd; stepson, Eddie George (Naomi); grandchildren, Domica Jones, Cariana Jones, Herbert Jones ll, Angelise (Rashea) Brown, Anissia Davis, Shemil Streater, Sherrod Streater, Tony King, Devontae King, Ja'Lyric Hayes, Jordan Hayes, Londynn Milton, Brooklynn Milton, Kanye Milton, Phoenixx Milton, Samira Rolle; great- grandchildren, Janiyah Harrell, Jayla Jones, Cameron Burton, Tyla Collins, Ri'nyah Franklin, Ra'naja Franklin, Ryan Franklin, De'nae Samuel, Nick Wilson, Shaniyah Streater, Caniyah Streater, Mikayla Coleman, Azariah Johnson, Shariyah Streater, Ashonni Streater, Shanasia Streater; brothers, Nemal Rolle (Rosa) of Tampa, Roland Rolle (Geneva) of Stuart Manor Exuma, Butlin Rolle (Brenda) of New Providence, Leonard Rolle of New Providence, and Kenneth Rolle of Stuart Manor Exuma; sisters, Eulla R. Ambrister, Myrtle Rolle Pinder, Rena Rolle, and Ulla R. Tucker; friends, Mary Alice Williams, Ernestine Coleman, and Alberta Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
