A Graveside Celebration for Min. Cassandra Tinsely 'Sand' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Pastor Rochester Jacobs, Sr., officiating. The interment will follow.

Cassandra was born in Palatka, Florida on August 23, 1954. She spent several years in California and then returning to Florida. She was planted firmly in Tampa, Florida and became an active member in her community. She owned a cleaning business and an Assistant Living Facility. She loved and cared for others personally and professionally. In fact, at her last job, she was very well known and liked by all who met her. Sand gave her life to Christ at an early age. Her deep love for God, the word, her church familyand Pastors was evident by her conviction to studying the word, evangelizing and teaching Sunday School. She attended BRYCG"Building Relationship Yielding Christian Growth." She enjoyed fishing, volunteering in the community, watching movies, helping others and spending time with her church family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evangelist Dorothy Tyson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her loving cousins, Ann Powell, Chinnette Stokes (Clint), Lonnie Powell (Nicole), Reggie Powell and Shirley Nickens; a host more of loving cousins; three special lifetime friends; Karen Crews, Debra Allen and Mrs. Barbara. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be held on Friday, July 9th at Aikens Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service.
