Homegoing Celebration for Mother Minnie Lou Drew of Tampa, Florida who passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, will be held Saturday, October 31st, 11:00 a.m., New Progress M.B. Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Elder E.J. Williams, pastor with Elder Vernon Young, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Minnie was a member of New Progress M.B. Church and accepted Christ at an early age. She enjoyed going to church, entertaining, being a good steward, grandmother and mother to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Drew; mother, Melissa Bell; son, Frederick Bell and brother, Marion Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Catrena Drew, Jeffrey McDowell (Janice), George Bell of Ancorage, Alaska, and Freddie Haynes, Sr. (Tiffany); grandchildren, Teeara Rivers, Jakira Gilchrist, Oshjanique Girven, Roderick Rivers, Jr., Daquan Corene, Frederick Bell, Jr., Gelano Bell, Markevis Shaw, Jeffrey Micheal McDowell, Brianna McDowell, Freddie Haynes, Jr. and Makayla Haynes; brother, Albert Bell; sisters, Mercedes Fields; nieces, Deborah Fields (Henry), Corlis McIntyre, Vera Fields (Jeff), Sharon Bell (Lindbergh), Twyla Jennings and a host of others; nephews, Andre Jennings, Albert Bell, Jr., Rodney Bell (Dionne) and a host of others, cousins, Bobby Drew (Jean), Henry Black (Joyce), Dana Reid and a host of others; god daughter, Beverly Hills; sister-in-law, Sis. Ann Drew; special friends, Clara Bell Hogan, Eloise Tinsley, Natalie Sigler, Trudy Kearney, Minnie George, Ann Burden, Willie Singleton and a host of many others. The visitation will be held at New Progress M.B. Church on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
