Mrs. Minnie J. Shabazz-Lewis was born December 24, 1960, to Preston Williams, Jr. and Margaret Cooper. She attended schools throughout Hillsborough County. Upon graduation, Minnie became a housekeeper for many years. She loved listening to music and enjoyed life with her loved ones. Minnie met the love of her life, William Lewis, who she affectionately called "Honey." Minnie was preceded in death by her son, Roberto Lowe; father, Preston Williams, Jr.; and mother, Margaret Cooper.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband of 18 years, William Lewis; siblings, Valencia Nappier, Preston (Zebina) Williams, Zarron (Paul) McNeal, Tanya (Timothy) Graham, and Herbert Hordge; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Allen) Frierson, Calvin (Dulcey) Hordge, Harriet Allen, Larprenda Williams, Marquita Williams, Preston Williams, Jerrod Williams, Margarett Williams, Zarron (Keitha) McNeal, Shala (Kirt) McCloud, Darron (Eisha) McNeal, Deandre (Deion) Davis, Otisha Williams, Timothy Graham, Jr. Nathaniel Graham; special great-nephew, A'Jay Rivera "Little Dad"; and a host of other family members and friends.
