Born on August 1, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, Monteral's warmth and vibrant spirit were evident from an early age.

Monteral spent his career behind the wheel as a commercial truck driver for Kelly's Food, where his colleagues admired him for his dependability and friendly demeanor. He was known for his ability to navigate the roads with both skill and care, a metaphor for how he traveled through life's journey. His work not only supported his family but also allowed him to form lasting friendships and contribute to the community he held dear.

A sports enthusiast, Monteral cherished the camaraderie and competition found on the field. He was often found cheering on his favorite teams, instilling a love of the game in his children and grandchildren. In those shared moments of exuberance and disappointment, Monteral taught lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Family was the cornerstone of Monteral's life. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Valerie Stillings, and a loving brother to his late brother, David Stillings. Monteral's legacy is carried on through his children, Shana Girven, Brittany Stillings, Courtney Stillings, Jasmine Stillings, Monteral Stillings Jr., and Brandon Stillings. His joy was multiplied with the birth of each of his grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Tony, Amariyah, Christian, Jaleayiah, Victor the Third, Penelope, DeAndre Jr., Emeri, and Bryson, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

Monteral was the cherished son of Lamarcus Stillings and Claudia Mitchell-Stillings. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis Stillings (Michelle), Victor Stillings (Cynthia), and Darell Stillings (Shauna), as well as his sisters, Belinda Stillings-Brown and Betsy Lee (Charles). His Aunt Edna Johnson, along with a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins, will forever remember Monteral's heartwarming laughter and sage advice.
