Trustee Everett AKA "Blizz", was a faithful member of Israel Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Morris was born on December 26, 1935, in Marianna, FL, to parents, Percy and Nora Everett. Morris enjoyed playing, coaching and watching baseball. His favorite team was the Tampa Bay Rays. When Morris graduated from high school he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs. He attended the Chicago Cubs training camp. He was a member of the Tampa Legends of Tampa Bay Florida.
Morris was preceded in death by parents, Percy and Nora Everett; parents-in-law, Willie Jack and Marietta Johnson; son, Gregory Everett; daughter, Desiree Everett; brothers, Earnest Everett, Willie Everett, Sr., Arthur Everett, Jessie Everett, Roosevelt Everett, Edward Everett and Percy Everett; brother-in-law, Earnest Clark; sisters, Alice Lee Davis, Annie Murl Cole and Mary Lou Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Cheryl Everett Marion, Caregiver and Delya Johnson-Davis (Larry) Bowling Green, KY; son, Tony Warren (Val); grandchildren, Clayton "Teco" Marion (Reva), Maurice Marion, Tashina Perry, Nicolette Everett Kennedy, LaToya Everett, Gregory Everett, II (Christie), Shaniquea Marshall, Rickey Riser, II (Regina), Acquelyn Shaneka Riser (Anthony), LaKesha Everett, Morris D. Everett (Sharonda), Antionette Warren, Arleta Warren, Ivannisha Warren, Waylon Warren, Patrick Warren and Antonio Jordan; brothers, Bryant Everett and Monroe Everett (Evelyn); sister, Consuella Leath (Eugene); sister-in-law, Katherine Clark; cousins, Elmo Bryant, Marianna, FL, Rosie McKay, Marianna, FL, Marilyn Holden, New York; niece, Regina Johnson (Vern) New Jersey; Godson, Bruce Meeks; the Tampa Legends of Tampa Bay Florida; neighbors, Mattie Lampkin, Christopher Lampkin, Sylvester Brown, Frederick Brown, Roosevelt Philyor, Patricia Luke; close friends, Arthur Dunnigan, Charles Fraizer, Chicago and Chuck Fraizer; family friends, Roberta Johnson, Tresa Boykin, Clayton "Tom" Marion, Linda Shepherd, Barbara Dixon, Mildred Davis, Almeta Butler, Betty Hammond and Willie Evans; fifty-two great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and endless god-chosen sons, daughters and grandchildren he chose to be surrounded by in life. Special to him was Jacquelyn Everett.
