Mosella (Glaspie) King, 74, peacefully passed away Friday, January28, 2022 at 1:57 a.m. at Seasons Hospice in Tampa, Florida. Mosella was born on August 27, 1947 in Marianna, Arkansas to William Hamp Glaspie, Sr and Rosie Mae (Hall) Glaspie by midwife in their home. She attended Anna Strong High School in Marianna, Arkansas and graduated in 1967. After graduating high school, she moved to Little Rock Arkansas and attended Philander Smith College (historically black college). While living in Kansas City, Missouri, she attended Penn Valley Community College. While attending Philander Smith College, Mosella meet and married James E. King. Mosella worked for 13 years at the State of Arkansas Disability Office and worked 19 years at the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. Mosella is survived by her three (3) daughters Cheryl King, Cynthia (King) Hunter, and Angel King as well as her three (3) grandchildren Biyaun Hunter, Braiylaun Hunter, and Azeria Frazier. She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, William Hamp, Jr. The funeral service will be held by Aikens Funeral Home, Tampa, Florida on February 12, 20225. Mosella will laid to rest at Mrytle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, Florida.
