Moses was born June 10, 1950, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late, Jimmy Lee Wilcox and Lucy Martin.

He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ivery Jackson; daughter, Chaquella Jackson; sisters, Anette Jarrett, Dorothy Crumedy and Hattie Bell Walker; and brothers, Dave, Willie and John Wilcox.

He leaves to cherish his memories children, Moses Wilcox, Mahalia Jackson, and Stephen Newsome; grandchildren, Zambria Jackson, Brandon, Chuckqae, and Jasir Thomas, Zamyriah Newsome, Trevaris, Aubriann and Alexis Wilcox and Trenton Grier; great grandchildren, Alaiyah Sutherland and London Thomas; sisters, Doris Robinson, Linda Paschal, Mary Daniels and Gaynell Hall (Felton); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
