Obituary

Mother Pauline Capers was born May 11, 1931, in Millen, Georgia. She worked as a bus driver for Hillsborough County Public Schools until her retirement. She was married to her devoted husband, the late Arthur Lee Capers, for 65 years. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah P.B. Church for over 50 years. She was currently a member of Re-Birth Baptist Church, where she served on the Mothers Board.

She was preceded in death by; husband, Arthur Lee Capers; son, Anthony G. Capers; mother, Zimmie Roberts; and sister, Ruby Jones.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters, Pearlie Mae Gibson, LaShawn Capers Huff, and Brenda Capers; grandchildren, Wanda Scruggs, Joseph, Anthony, and Shelia Mingo, Kevin A. Huff (Angela), Jamaal Huff (Melissa), James Capers (Cynthia), Afrika Capers, Jawhara Graham, Josiah Capers, Eboni Anderson, Jordan Capers; great-grands, LaTrell Dejesus (Jose), Tyisha Combs (Edward), Almetya and Tahiem Carr, Reuben and Malik Martinez, Darius Scruggs, Dejon Capers, Dekyra Thomas, DeJuan Amos, Janea Collins, Camron and Seth-Aaron Huff, Ja'Synt Capers, Zyah, Jazlyn, Xion, Allyson, Kyson, and Kadyn Huff; 17 great-great grandchildren; nieces, Elder Sarah Thomas and Zemmie Jones; nephews, Curtis and Jerome Smith; best friend, Bernice Johnson; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
