Homegoing Services for Mother Venellia Randolph of Tampa who passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 will be held Saturday, May 2nd, 2:00 p.m. at Unity AME Church, 1013 W. Dr. MLK Jr., Blvd., Rev. Patricia Mosely, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mother Randolph was born in Palmetto, Florida to the late Napoleon Randolph and Frances (Mays) Randolph. She was a member of Unity AME Church. She served on numerous boards and ministries throughout her 86 years on the Lord's battlefield. She has served as Youth Director, Steward, Trustee, Pastor's Aid, Choir Member, Missionary Society Silver Sister, and Mother of the Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren with all her heart and would do whatever was necessary for their well-being. She leaves to mourn her passing: 4 daughters, Martha Joyner (Sam), Roxane Johnson, Kathy Levy (Darrell) and Ida Randolph-Douglas (Timothy); 2 sons, Claude Randolph (Mary) and Charleston Randolph; 21 grandchildren, Misty Joyner-Downer (John), Adrian Joyner (Candace), Atlanta, GA., Kemeka Flowers, Latonya Ball (Marcus), Latoya Johnson, Monique Brown (Henry), Monisha, Shana, Shanelle, Kassandra and Keaundra Johnson, Eboni, Michael Sr., Keisher and Terance Randolph, Deandra, Devon and Venellia Levy, Tavasia and Tiahana Douglas; 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; a devoted niece, Mary Sturks-Mitchell; a devoted nephew, Randolph Hodo (Emma); best friend, Lily Register, friends, Robert & Carrie Hurst , Michael & Betty Jackson and Dorothy Wilder; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 1st, from 5-8 .m. The family will receive friends from 7-8. p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
