Mr. Wilber E.
Manderson
Oct 9, 1948 — Jun 12, 2026
Wilber Manderson Virtual Program
Wilber E. Manderson, lovingly known as “Raymond,” passed away peacefully at home in Tampa on June 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on October 9, 1948, in St. James, Montego Bay, Jamaica, to Theodulf Manderson and Elma Campbell-Manderson, Wilber lived a life marked by love, kindness, and generosity. He was a devoted husband, proud father, cherished grandfather, and a dear friend to many. Raymond found joy in life’s simple pleasures—a friendly game of checkers, cheering on his favorite soccer teams, tending to his garden, lending a helping hand, and creating beautiful woodworking pieces with his gifted hands. If something around the house needed fixing, he was always ready with his tools and a smile. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Yvonne Manderson; daughter, Chantal Manderson; stepdaughters, Sandra Christy; Tameka Samuels grandchildren, Delroy Jr. and Simone Manderson, and Jaylen and Jade Laudermilk; sisters, Pauline Sailsman, Pansie Melbourne (Charlie) and Janet Manderson; along with many family members -- nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Delroy Manderson Sr., and brothers, Henry and Thesmon Manderson. Though Raymond is no longer with us, the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever. His legacy lives on in every act of kindness, every shared laugh, and every cherished memory.
