Robert was born on August 31,1934 to Maryland Kemp Bryant and Ruth Cohen Bryant. He enjoyed football and basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maryland Kemp Bryant, and Ruth Cohen Bryant; wife, Alice Bryant; brothers, Willie Albert Bryant, and Edgar Bryant Sr.; sisters, Jesse Bryant, and Hattie Elizabeth Bryant; niece, Nancy Bryant; nephew, Kim Anthony Bryant.

Robert to cherish his memories, nieces; Pamela Hill, Vivian Gordan, Carolyn Middleton, Juanita Barber, and Valerie Bryant; nephews, Marion Howard Jr. Edgar Bryant Jr. Byron Grant; cousins, Hardy Jones, Hester Jones, and Jacqueline Jones, Mammie Mack; special friends, Gennie Mae Crews, John Anderson (Virginia), Gertrude, and Poochie.

The neighbors who he called his family next door, Bennie, and Irene Stewart; Tim and his special niece, Tanika; Neighbors whom God blessed to take care of him to live out his wishes. Thanking and praising God, for Mr. Bennie who became his first caregiver with his family beside him ensuring he lived out his life at home peacefully.
