Cecelia Latriece Booker-Garvin, affectionately known as "Pam," was born on April 2, 1970, in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Brandon High School and furthered her education at St. Leo University. Named after her great-aunt, Cecilia Davison Cambridge, Pam embodied the same vibrant spirit and warmth that made her unforgettable. She had a remarkable ability to light up every room she entered and was, without question, the life of every gathering.
Cecelia was a woman of many talents. A gifted violinist, baker and cook, she expressed her creativity in countless ways. She possessed a unique gift for transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary. Whether planning an event, decorating a space, or creating something with her hands, she had an eye for beauty and a talent for making every occasion memorable. Above all, she loved bringing joy to others. She had a natural ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. Even during life's challenges and as her health declined, she never lost her sense of humor. She continued to share jokes, lift spirits and ensure those around her were smiling. Her resilience, laughter and unwavering positivity became hallmarks of her character.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Booker-Powell; mother-in-law, Ethel Lee Garvin; father-in-law, Rev. Foster M. Garvin; grandparents, Joe E. Booker and Bettina Ruth Davison-Booker; aunt, Erica Booker; and uncles, Michael Booker and Forrest Booker.
She leaves cherished to her husband, Joseph Garvin; sons, Michael Moore and Adrian Moore; stepson, Joseph D. Garvin; daughters, Brittany Moore and Jaela Garvin; grandchildren, Anthony Howell, Nichole Austin, Ja‘Riyah Threatts, Adrian, Jr. (AJ) Moore, Adonis Moore and JaMeela Garvin; brother, Steven Powell; brother-in-law, Foster E. Garvin; aunts, Sheryl V. Booker Godfrey and Shelia Booker; niece, Essence Powell; nephew, Jaron Powell; cousins, Chaval Booker, Michael Booker, Jr., Forrest Booker, Jr., Angelic Booker, Darius Pierce, Ashley Pierce, Erica C. Reed, Shavonne Reed, Michael Reed, Edward C. Reed, Jr. and Andrea Moore; along with a host of other loving relatives.
