Mrs. Evelyn (Judge) Stanley was born on September 5, 1941, in Tampa, Florida. A woman of faith, service, compassion, and dedication, Evelyn devoted her life to uplifting others, particularly children and senior citizens. For many years, Evelyn served as the Administrator and Resident Manager of Antioch Manor, a 101-bed housing facility for the elderly that was built through the vision of her father, Elder William D. Judge. Her work at Antioch Manor was more than a profession; it was an extension of her caring spirit and commitment to serving her community. She also shared her gifts through Seniors in Service and Sheehy Elementary School. An educator at heart, Evelyn had a special love for working with young people. She believed in teaching, encouraging, and helping others reach their potential. Whether in a classroom, church setting, or everyday conversation, she was always willing to share her knowledge and wisdom. She also enjoyed cooking, using the kitchen as another place to nurture and bring people together. Evelyn was a lifelong and devoted member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Throughout the decades, she faithfully served through various committees, councils, and other affiliations within the Primitive Baptist organization. Her Christian faith remained an important foundation throughout her life and was reflected in her dedication to her church, family, and community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marria M. (Ricks) Judge McKinney and Elder William D. Judge; daughter, Sergeant First Class Joyce M. Stanley; brothers, William D. Judge, Jr., Walter Judge, Joseph Judge, and Eugene McKinney; and sisters, Beverly (McKinney) Davis Grayson.

Mrs. Evelyn (Judge) Stanley leaves cherished memories to her loving daughter, Cassandra D. (Stanley) Ingraham (John H., Jr.); son, Rev. Marcus R. Graddy; grandchildren, Travis B. Ingraham, Preston H. Ingraham, and Dominique Rose Ingraham; brother, Theodis McKinney (Leanna); sisters, Lillie (Judge) Nichols, Constance (McKinney) Dutcheville, and Carolyn McKinney; sisters-in-law, Agnes Judge and Mae Alice Judge; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and dear friends. 

Evelyn’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched as a mother, grandmother, sister, administrator, educator, mentor, servant, and woman of faith. Her devotion to seniors, her passion for young people, and her unwavering commitment to family and ministry created a beautiful legacy of service that will be remembered for generations to come.
