Obituary

Cynthia Yvonne Felton was born on November 6, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Henry and Kathleen Galloway. She was raised in Tampa and attended Hillsborough High School. Cynthia was a woman whose presence could light up any room. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout her life, including shopping, swimming, teaching water aerobics, watching wrestling, and enjoying action movies. She loved coloring on her tablet, cooking for those she loved, and creating special memories with family and friends.

One of her favorite pastimes was making her signature drink, sitting back, and enjoying laughter and fellowship as she watched everyone have a good time. Family was the center of Cynthia’s world. Her children were her greatest joy and the love she had for them was unmatched. She treasured every moment spent with her family and took pride in being the one they could always depend on. Known for her sweet spirit, caring heart, and selfless nature, Cynthia was a loyal friend and confidant. She had a unique way of telling people exactly what they needed to hear—even when it wasn't what they wanted to hear. She was a peacemaker when she could be, a source of wisdom when it was needed, and a steadfast supporter to those she loved. Her kindness, honesty, and unwavering devotion made her the best friend anyone could ask for.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Kathleen Galloway; niece, Shell'on Davis; and son, Dametrius Edwards.

She leaves cherished memories to her daughters, Nikisha Felton, Megan Tillman and Cashandra Edwards-Scott; grandchildren, Nicolas Hill, Asberry Johnson and London Johnson; great-granddaughter, Malayzia Johnson; brother, David Galloway; sister, Shelley Galloway-Bell; nephews, Barry Hudson II, David Galloway, Jr., Jarred Galloway and Ryan Galloway; great-nieces, Desire Davis, Raven Williams and Talia Hudson; great-nephews, Patrick Davis, Jr. and Vern Hudson III; along with a host of extended family members. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her dedication to family, her unforgettable personality, and the joy she brought to those around her.
