Kenya Long was born in Marianna, Florida, where her life's journey began. She was a woman whose love for her family, resilient spirit and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether spending precious moments with those she loved or offering kindness and encouragement to others, Kenya embraced life with warmth, compassion and unwavering devotion to her family. Above all, Kenya cherished her role as a loving spouse, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her children were the center of her world, and she took great pride in nurturing them with unconditional love, guidance and support. Her beautiful smile, gentle spirit and the memories she created with those closest to her will forever remain treasured parts of their lives.
Kenya was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Dorothy Long Cook; grandfather, William Newton; great-grandmother, Eva P. Long; great-grandfather, Oscar Long; and her cherished
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted spouse, Edwardo Vega; beloved son, Kaleb Long; loving daughter, Chrishonne Davis; mother, Sylvia Bryant; brother, Christopher Rashad Bryant; sister, Samantha Nicole Bryant; granddaughter, Jalannie Deliah Edwards; uncles, Marcus Dewayne Cook and Calvin Eugene Long; nieces, Sharmain Brewer and Serenity Hamm; nephew, Justice Myking Hamm; special friend and the father of her children, Christopher Davis; along with a host of extended family members, dear friends and all whose lives were touched by her love and kindness. Though her earthly journey has ended, Kenya's legacy of love, strength and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered and lovingly cherished.
