With love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life and legacy of Lois Brown, a devoted woman of faith, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and treasured friend. Lois Brown was born on January 30, 1938, in Vienna, Georgia, to the late J.C. Dawson and Gussie Dawson. At an early age, Lois accepted Christ and was baptized in Vienna, Georgia. Her faith remained an important part of her life throughout the years. She was a dedicated member of Revealing Truth Ministry, where she faithfully attended until her health no longer allowed her to do so. Lois was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent many years working for a cleaner’s company before retiring. Her commitment and strong work ethic were just a few of the qualities that defined the remarkable woman she was. Above all, family was the heart of Lois’s life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and generations of family who followed. Some of her greatest joy came from having her family gather together at her home, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. In her leisure time, Lois enjoyed visiting thrift stores and relaxing while watching her favorite television shows.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Dawson and Gussie Dawson, and her children, Alton, Ollie, and Vaunseal (deceased) & her baby sister Wynette of Georgia. 

She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her grandchildren, Shawn, Byron, April, Jasper, Javario, Altonett, Asia, Ollie III, Diane, Toynish, Oiyaha, Cortez, Micah, Fanashia, Kaden, Kevin, Kalay, and Kia; her great-grandchildren, Jo’Deja, Lyseberthe, Cae’ccon, Unique, Latavia, A’Shaunna, Tavaras, & Dion,and her great-great-grandchildren, Gorgeous, My’Kayla, Michael, and A’yla. Lois also leaves cherished memories with her beloved best friend, Ena Williams; her favorite niece, Zellwana White; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Lois Brown leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, strength, and love. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the love she gave, and the generations she helped shape will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will live through her family for generations to come.
