Ms. Mary
Williams
April 26, 1962 – June 10, 2026
Mary Williams was born on April 26, 1962, in Staten Island, New York. She was a loving and compassionate woman whose life was dedicated to caring for others. Though often misunderstood, Mary possessed a beautiful heart and a deep love for people. She freely shared kindness, support and encouragement with many who were facing trauma and difficult circumstances. A devoted woman of faith, Mary depended on Jesus throughout her life. Praising God was one of her greatest joys, and she never hesitated to share her love for Christ with anyone she encountered. Her unwavering faith served as an inspiration to family, friends, and all who knew her.
Mary worked as a nurse, faithfully serving and caring for others with compassion and dedication. Outside of her profession, she found joy in smiling, cooking, singing, dancing and lifting praises to the Lord. Her warm spirit and loving nature touched countless lives. Affectionately known as “Mother Queen,” Mary has arrived in the Kingdom of God, where she now rests in eternal peace. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Jimmie Mae Bryant and Ruth Tinsley; grandparents, Dorothy and James Walls; and
cousins, Selena, Keith, Travis Tinsley, Tyrese, Andrea Bryant and Stephen Bryant. She leaves cherished memories to her children, April Williams, Kamilhia Williams and Kenneth Hunter, Jr.; grandchildren, Ontario Williams, Destiny Williams, Taranto Williams, Jazzmond Carter, Kenna Hunter, Ahlea Hunter and Kenneth Hunter III; eighteen, great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Williams, James Williams, Stanley Blackshear and Calvin Blackshear; sister, Pamela Ford; along with special relatives and friends, Johnnie Mae Reeves and Jazzimen Parks. Mary will be deeply missed and forever cherished as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister in Christ, and friend. Though she is no longer with us in body, her light, love, and testimony of faith will remain with us always.
