Funeral services for Mr. Murry J. Young, Sr. of Tampa who passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, will be held Saturday, May 7th, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, with Elder Cedric L. Williams, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Murry was born July 8, 1935, in Byromville, Georgia. He was employed with Morrison Cafeteria for 44 years where he retried. He enjoyed watching sports of all kinds with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Will Young; mother, Rosa Neal; brothers, Rufus, L.C. and Arthur (Jay); and sisters, Laura and Lena. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Eunice Young; children, Murry J. Young, Jr., Bobby Ray Young, Frederick Bernard Young, Linda Richardson and husband, Willie, and Shirlene Young; grandchildren, Shae Young and fiancAC., Doug, Andre Young, Willie Richardson, Jr., LaTasha Monroe and husband, Kenneth, Tiffany Young, Lisa Young, Tia Young, Sharel Young, Shara Young, Anthony Young, Timothy Young, Goddress Young, Fredricka Young and Frelita Young; 27 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; godmother, Mamie Ballard; brothers, Albert Young, wife, Arabella, William Young, wife, Annette and Edward Young; sisters, Catherine Turner and husband, Willie, Bertha Gary and husband, Walter, Ophelia Ball and husband, Alphonso, Jr. and Shirley Foster and husband, Melvin; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Reed and husband, Elijah, Bobbie Edward-Orebo and Mae F. Brown; brothers-in-law, Willie Henry Neal, wife, Mary, and Henry Neal; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends; other special relatives and friends, Carolyn (Young) Barton, Annie Cason and Clovis Neal. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. for the services on Saturday.
