Obituary

Myrtle Francois affectionally known as "Mona", entered her life journey on February 8th, 1952. Mona was raised and educated in Fort Myers, Florida. She moved to Tampa in the early 80's, where she raised her six children. Mona went back to school later in life and received her associate's degree in business education at Polk County Technical College in Winter Haven, Florida. After pursuing her degree, Mona started her own home business preparing immigration forms and assisting others with unemployment forms etc. Mona worked hard and enjoyed life as well. Mona fulfilled her assignment here on earth and transitioned home to our heavenly father on September 24th, 2025, she is now present with those who have preceded her in death including her mother, Mamie Williams; grandson, Eddie Anderson, Jr.; brothers, John Gadson, and Joseph Gadson; sister, Patricia Gadson; and nephew, Fredrick Williams.

She leaves cherished memories her husband, Prosper Francois; children, Brenda Peacock (Maurice), Mary Peacock, Margaret Anderson (Eddie), Katina Vance, Kynshasa Vance (Yashima), and James Peacock (Felicia); bonus children, Evangeline Francois, Christy Francois, Christopher Francois, Marie Jacob Francois; grandchildren, Kalasian Peacock, (Chuck) Khontora Johnson, Jamika Luten, (Damien), Freddy Jones, Tavia Jackson, Eddicia Anderson, Eddería Anderson, Jazmyn Foster, Kazarian Jordan (Jason), Shayron Jordan (Michelle), Keon Jordan (Shauna), Rashod Jordan (Ashley), Antonio Miranda (Cassandra), Jermaine Miranda, Donovan Davis (Rebecca), James Peacock, Jr., Jamenisha Peacock (Raymond), Josiah Bradley (Janae), Jakiva Middleton (Shamiya), Jasmine Thomas Peacock, Destiny Francois, Thaisha Francois, and Christ Angelson Francois; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Larry McCarter (Exploria), and Tyron McCarter (Michelle); sisters, Nola Dunbar-Thomas (Carl), Linda McCarter, Debra Smith, and Rose Jackson; aunts, Alfreida Lias, and Rosalyn Brown; uncles, Arto Brown (Frances), and John Willams (Jacqueline); nieces, Lintoya Townsend, Renee Pierre, and Lakeisha Jackson; nephews, Patrick Gadson, Issac Willams, Sheldon Mcdonald, Darione McCarter, Javarion McCarter, Jean Raymond Francois, and James Romelus; cousins, Rosemary Willams, Sandra Toomer, Jackie James, and Robin Jackson; brothers-in-law, Savilson Francois, Raymond Francois, and Sanon Francois; goddaughter, Dorthy Jules; special friends, Pam Lusane, Tonya Adams, Darlene York, Lee York "Foe", Shayron Jordan, Micheal Timmons, and Jean (Her Number One Mechanic); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
