Homegoing Celebration for Miss Natalia Leonard of Tampa who passed away, Friday, August 1, 2014, will be held Saturday, August 9th, 2:00 p.m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, 301 Lakewood Dr., Rev. Curtis Swafford, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Natalia was born October 19, 2001 in Tampa, Florida. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. She was a devoted sister and daughter. She was kind, loving, witty and smart young lady. Natalia believed in God and knew how to interpret her Sunday school scriptures. She was preceded in death by her uncles; Paul Leonard, Ulysses Whitening, Jr., and Leslie Mitchell; grandfather; Ronnie Simmons; great grandmothers; Elder Dorothy L. Jackson and Evelyn Simmons. Treasuring her love and memories are: her mother, Natalie Simmons; father, Frankie Leonard, Sr.; brothers, Frankie Leonard, Jr. and Tony Habib (Shanell); grandparents, Lealer and Andrew Doe, Pearl Hill and Patsy Simmons; great grandfather, Kenneth Jackson, Sr.; great great grandmother, Maeola Wilson; aunts, Yolanda Simmons-Dixon (Emmit), Dorothy Pruitt (Perys), Tolana Mathis, Evelyn Simmons, Karen Jackson, Debra Jackson, Dorothea Jackson, Helena Leonard, Shirl Sanders, Minnie Wiggins and Elizabeth Mitchell; uncles, Sterling Jackson(Charlotte), Kenneth Jackson, Jr., Woodrow Simmons (Juanita), Calvin Simmons (Tonia), Reginald Whitening (Catherine), Gregory Whitening, Clyde Wiggins, Clarence Wiggins, Michael Gibson (Kim), Kevin Gibson and Trevor McKenzie (Becky); special family friends, Ira Ashley, Wanda Sampson (Monty), Lisa Carter, Michelle Morales, staff of Foster Elementary and Monroe Middle School; and a host of cousins, sorrowing relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
