Homegoing celebration for Mr. Nathaniel Holder who passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 will be held Saturday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m., Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N 40th Street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor with Pastor Gregory T. Hill of First John Ministries, Inc., officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. Nathaniel Holder was born November 28, 1956 in Dawson, Georgia to the late Minnie M. Holder-Givens and Lonnie Blakely. He was raised in Tampa, Florida by his maternal grandparents the late Leroy and Clara Holder. He was educated in the school system of Hillsborough County Florida. After graduation from Leto High School and feeling a sense of service he joined the United States Air Force, where he served for seven years stationed at various military installations in the United States and overseas. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving spouse, Zenobia Harper; seven daughters, Melissa Paisley and husband, Adrian, LaVona Jones and husband Ken, Jamie Stokes, Elizabeth Walton, Shundrella Walton, LaShawn Loman and Belinda Harper; three sons, Pernell Robinson, Ricky Walton and Bruce Walton; four grandchildren, Jaedyn, Aaliyah, Pernell, Jr. and De' Asia; three brothers, Horrest McGivery, Samuel Smith, Sr. and Eddie Harris; four sisters, Linda Lambert and husband George, Lisa Grimes, Cassandra Jolly and husband Fred, Tracy Williams and husband Gregory; three uncles, Bennie Holder wife, Louise, Bobby Holder and wife Melenee and Charles Holder; three aunts, Annie Blakely, Annie Jean Reid and Betty Norton; one great aunt, Daisy Lee Holder-Horton; supportive neighbors, Tony and Josephine Smith; life-ling friend, Gail Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
