Homegoing celebration for Mr. Nathaniel Mobley of Tampa, who passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Bro. Marion Wells, officiating. Interment will be in Floral City Community Cemetery, Floral City, Florida. Nathaniel was born on April 12, 1938 in Floral City, Florida. He enjoyed fishing and socially communicating with special friends in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Mobley and Elizabeth Norton Mobley and brothers, Leon and Calvin Mobley. He leaves to cherish memories with his wife, Carolyn Mobley; daughter, Natalie Mobley; sons, Rodney Dorsey, Sr. (Jacqueline) and Kevin Mobley; grandchildren, Janay Dorsey and Rodney Dorsey, Jr.; great grandson, Carlton J. Miner III; brother, Herbert Mobley, Jr., Tampa; sisters, Betty Young and Cecelia Langston (Dwight) Tampa; aunts, Cora Bradley, Paris, KY and Betty Bradley, Tampa; uncle, Conroy Cordore, Sr. (Glinda), Seffner, FL; nieces, Dietrich Langston, Delia Langston, Brittany Langston and Shakera Langston, all of Tampa; nephews, Dwight Langston, Jr., Calvin E. Mobley, Wilbert Young and Reginald Young, all of Tampa; cousins, Essie King, Tampa, Cleve King (Mary) Brooksville, FL, Delya Norton, Jerry Norton and Delbert Norton, all of Tampa, Jevina Norton, Atlanta, GA, Andrew Holloway, Tampa, FL and Adrian Eastering, Clermont, FL; sisters-in-law, Reba Watkin, Cheryl Lacewell (Robert), Terri Swain (Cleve), Judy Thomos (Leo), Jackie Buchanan and Nadine Hogan; brother-in-law, Brian Gosa; coordinator- consultant, Dr. Q. Holmes, B.S.N. RN; and a host of friends and neighbors of Tampa, Florida. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel on Saturday for the service.
