A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Nicholete M. Parkes of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22nd. The service will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in The Garden of Memories. Nicholete was born February 21, 1975 in Silent Hill, Jamaica. She loved to dance and getting her hair and nails done. She loved her family immensely and that love has left and will continue to leave a long-lasting impact on them. She was also the type of woman who would give her all to her close friends. Nicholete Parkes truly was a shining light on this world. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her husband, Andrew A. Parkes; children, Shawn Bedassie, Shamar Williams, Dave Parkes, Jodiann Parkes, Andrew Parkes, Jr. and Tavelli Errar; granddaughter, Naomi; parents, Delbert Carter and Dorothy E. Williams; 9 sisters; 7 aunts; 7 uncles; a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will truly miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Also the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
