A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Noble Sylvester Thomas of Tampa, Florida will be held on Wednesday, June 9th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Gregory Gay, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Noble S. Thomas was born October 17, 1935 in Kingston, Jamaica. He attended school in Jamaica and he obtained an electrical license in Florida. He worked as an electrician for many of years in Tampa including his home church. He attended Mt. Olive AME Church. He enjoyed cooking and feeding family, friends, playing dominos, having good times, traveling, watching and attending football games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Thomas and Hilda Brown; other relatives, Margaret Thomas, Donald Washington, Michael Thomas, Tony Thomas and James Eday. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Carlton Thomas (Brenda) California Jermaine S. Thomas and Emma Jackson both of Tampa, Fl.; grandchildren, Tonya Wright of Tampa, Carlton Barton (Barbara), Juilar Thomas, Pili Thomas and Fagriah Thomas all of California.; a host of greatgrandchildren; brothers, Rev. Tevor Brown (Beverly) of Tampa and Tony Salmon of Canada; sisters, Marcia Johnson (Ivory) of Tampa and Cynthia Salmon of Canada; nieces, Monique Patterson of Tampa, Carlene Brown and Patricia Patterson both of Tampa; nephews, Perry Grant and Steve Brown both of Tampa; best friend, Rupert Edman; friends, Thomas Aikens, Eastern Robinson and Mr. Virgo; special friend, Carroll Mitchell; a host of other family and friends. The family and friend met at the chapel on Wednesday for the service. We did follow the CDC guidelines.
The visitation was held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
