A homegoing celebration for Mr. Noel Lloyd Wilson who passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 will be held Saturday, March 10th, at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, Dr. S. Evan Burrows, Sr. Pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Noel Wilson was born on February 25, 1938 in Moravia, Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies to the late Leonard Wilson and Urcelene Brown. Noel loved the Lord, he walked, spoke and talked the talk as a man of God. For 17 years, he worked at Kennedy Memorial Hospital as the head chef until he retired in September of 2002. Travelling was his greatest joy especially with his wife, Carol. His favorite destination was the Bahamas. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curtis Wilson; sisters, Icenet Joyce Wilson and Enid Clark; niece, Sharon Walker; nephew, Desmond Staple; and his first wife, Jasmine Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Wilson; children, Hugh Wilson, Ann Marie Lewis and Shemeika Wilson; his bonus daughters, Lynette Perry, Kelly Cooper, Sharon Ward, Jasmine Ward and Jennifer Poe; granddaughter, Alicia Wilson; and grandson, Chase Lewis; great-granddaughter, Annalise Harrison; great-grandson, Martin Harrison II; brothers, Hurgle George Wilson and Malcolm Wilson; sister, Eunice Staple; sister-in-law, Lurine Wilson; favorite niece, Mervia Wilson; also nieces, Claudette (Blossom) Wilson, Dawn Wilson, Suzy Puckett, Andrea (Joy) Faulkner and Lezonie Burney; nephews, Hopeton Staple, Bevan Staple, Victor Wilson and Richard Wilson; grandnephew, Lincoln Little (LJ) and grandniece, D-Jon Charles; special friends, Pastor and Mrs. Robinson of Camden, NJ; special thank you to Nurse Patsy Clarke; and a host of other family members and friends. The visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the services.
