Obituary

Norman Deautherquan Price was born on August 6, 1986. He was known as both a lover and a fighter, excelling at loving and fighting for those he cared about during his 39 years of life. His generosity knew no bounds, and his kindness touched the lives of many.

The second child of Adrian and Sarah Price, and the first son, Norman was a natural leader. His absence will be deeply felt, as many will miss the long phone calls and conversations where he made the most difficult things seem easily accomplished, all with a laugh and the assurance that he would support whatever decision you made.

Known as "Face" to everyone who loved him, he never met a stranger. He loved to travel and spend time with his loved ones, often planning his trucking loads around baby showers, birthday parties, and quality time with friends and cousins.

When he was 12 years old, he brought home a neighborhood friend, Pete, and adopted him into the family. Throughout his life, he continued to collect friends who became like siblings.

He grew up in his great-grandmother's church, singing in the choir and competing in school singing competitions with his angelic voice reminiscent of a young Tevin Campbell.

Norman's love for his children was unwavering. He changed his life to be present and provide for them. Some of his happiest moments were when his oldest son, Alizjah, graduated from high school. He was incredibly proud of all his children and was known to spend entire phone calls bragging about their accomplishments.

Norman built a successful business as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved the freedom, adventure, and financial stability his career provided for his family. Face had a penchant for luxury items, including designer clothes, shoes, and the nicest cars for himself and his family. He was most proud of being a provider for his family.

Norman is survived by his children Alizjah (20), Norman (17), Beautiful (16), Myking (4), and Yeshua (11 months); fiancée Brittani Gillice; and long-time friend Kelleen Allen. He is also survived by his mother Sarah Price, father Adrian Price Sr., brothers Franklin, Bennie, Kabeir, Asaad, Esias, Adrian Jr., Xavier, Justus, and Pete; sisters, Adrien, Satin, Porsche, Sarah, and Gemminique; sister-in-laws Ashley and Kristina; aunts Cookie, Angie, Shenndale, Gwen, Leslie, Venus, Dorothy, Shirley, Rosie, Monique, Dineen, uncles Chunky, Sabou, and a host of cousins, friends, nieces, and nephews. He was loved and loved deeply in return.

Norman was preceded in death by his grandmother Nettie Cooper, grandfather Bennie Joe Julious, grandmother Gloria Price, grandfather Nelson Price, brothers Sal and Calvin, and uncles James, Charles, and Nelson.
