Homegoing services for Mrs. O'Letha Myrick Lovett of 6120 E. 110th Ave., who passed away, Thursday, September 9, 2010, will be held Saturday, September 18th, 11:00 a.m., St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Chipco Street., Rev. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lovett was born October 23, 1923, in Tampa, Florida. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family. She attended Light Foot Senior's Center, where she enjoyed her friends and playing dominos, bingo and sewing crafts. Mrs. Lovett was faithful to her church and enjoyed praise and worship. Mrs. Lovett was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Lovett; parents, Charlie Myrick and Letha (Dyles) Myrick; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Anthony Jerome Lovett and wife, Jackie; grandchild, Marshall Myrick (Katrina); great grandchildren, Marshall Myrick, Jr., Desmond Myrick, Marshana Harris, Marshavia Myrick, Marquita Myrick and Aaron Freeman; and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 17th from 5-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service Saturday.
