Obituary

Ms. Olivia Brown "Livvy" was born on June 24, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY to late Fred Brown and Hazel Dennis Walker. She attended Franklin K. Lane High School and then went on to attend Manifest Theological Institute for her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Psychology. Olivia spiritual journey began in 1977 when she attended First Baptist Church in Brownsville, Brooklyn, NY. She continued her journey with her sons, and relocated to Tampa, FL in 1980 where she attended Glorious COGIC. After many years with various stops along the way serving with other ministries, she concluded her physical walk with God as an active church mother at The Center of Manifestation. We celebrate her legacy of service to others and to God. She has inspired us to do the same as her spiritual journey continues. Olivia was a dedicated foster mom for over 25 years, treating each child like they were her own.  She received Professional of the year in 2005, Hillsborough County Juvenile Assessment Center.
