A Homegoing Graveside Service for Mr. Oscar Lee Lawrence, Jr., "Big O" of Tampa, Florida who passed away, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, will be held Saturday, November 27th, 10:00 a.m., at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Rev. Dr Willie Richardson, Sr., officiating. The interment will follow. Oscar was born, October 7, 1971, in Tampa, Florida to Oscar Lee Lawrence, Sr. and Shirley Johnson (Bludsaw). He completed his formal education in Hillsborough County public school system. Oscar enjoyed playing basketball and drawing. He was preceded in death by, Oscar Lawrence, Sr., and Rev. Eddie Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Tosha Moreland-Lawrence; mother, Shirley Johnson; children, Oscar Lawrence, Onethia Peterkins, Osceayrra Lawrence-Horace and Tiphani Bell; grandchildren, Keion and Kymari Lawrence and DeArie Horace; brothers, Taurus, Alexander, Leon, Jeffery, and Anthony Johnson; sister, Dijia Johnson-Morgan; and other sorrowing cousins, nieces, relatives, and friends to include, Reggie Lewis, Kimberly Ledbetter-Sherrod, and Shana Faison. Oscar will be truly missed by all who knew him. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday, November 27th for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
