A homegoing celebration for Mr. O'Shay Lewis of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 will be held Saturday, September 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Heaven's Destiny Assembly of God, 4104 E. Ellicott St., Pastor Tom Jones, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. O'Shay was born November 2, 1993 to Johnny Carter and Chanjaree Lewis in Tampa, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County and attended Mt. Tabor M.B. Church. O'Shay enjoyed video games, rapping, battle rapping and playing basketball. He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Glady Williams. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his son, Vondel Lewis and his mother, Janell Lewis; devoted mother, Chanjaree Lewis; father, Johnny Carter; great-grandparents, Benny and Sandra Lewis and Johnny and Naomi Carter; brothers, Ricky Z. Lewis and Rayshawn Lewis; aunts, Chandra C. Trimble, Yeometta Lewis and Shontae Hodo; uncles, Stacie Trimble and Benny Kenny Lewis; nieces, Kamaria Woods, Emani Aikens and Rat'nia Lewis; cousins, LaTracianna C. Smith, Steveondra L. Carter, Stevetavia L. Carter, Geovonna Douglas, Sharmaine Douglas, Donneisha F. Peterson, La'Quasha D. Jordan, O'Mauryi Lewis, Daja Douglas, Stacie G. Trimble, Aubrey E. and Aurien L. Hardy, Emanuel Perez, Zephaniah Perez and Zymeriah Douglas; friend, David Williams; friend/family, Chad Prilliman; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 29th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
