Our beloved Otis House was a native of Tampa, Florida. He attended King High School. He accepted Christ at an early age. To know him was to love him! He was well known and was the life of every party. He was a father-figure, family man, and friend. His dedication and passion came from being a beloved coach and mentor for over 30 years at Belmont Heights Little League (Astros) and Tampa Bay Jaguars. He impacted every child that came across his path. His life lessons on and off the field will live on in each and every one of our hearts.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Shaw and Charlie Lee House; grandparents, Alberta Green, York Green, Jo Ethel House, and Bo House; siblings, Lillian Terry, Dan Shaw, Jr., Ed Michael Shaw, Sr., and Alonzo House.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Belinda House; "His girls His World" Otishia House (Reginald) and Keionne House; ONLY grandson, Sevyen Keion House affectionately known as "LUCKY"; siblings, Diann House (Sam), Theresa Perry (Cecil), Margaret Shaw, Sophia Underwood, and Charlie Shaw House (Meiko); aunts, Vena Bell Hammond, Margeret Jones, Gloria Jean Scott. Uncles: Tyrone (Lika) House, Napoleon (Po Chop) House; nieces and nephews, Gwendolyn House Denson (Will), Ioanina Duncan (Curley), Charles Simmons, Jr. (Keyiuna), Jasmine Pettis (Jimmie), Ed Michael Shaw, Jr., Ebony Shaw, Mikeshia Shaw, Akil Shaw, Charlie Shaw, Jr., Daunte, Gregory, and Demetrius Underwood. He leaves behind "ANNIE GANG": Tierra Howard, Simayah Mack, Erica Bentley, Eriaius Bentley, Ashley Howard, Jz'Alea Roberts, Qquani Bentley, Qquantel Bentley, Jacquez House, Cedric Roberts, Charles "Tre" Simmons III, Jimmie Pettis III, Chanel Simmons, JehMeil "Bone Crusher" Pettis, Chayse Simmons, Jeh'Me Pettis, and a "GANG" of other GREAT nieces and nephews; favorite cousin, Gerald "Duke" Scott (Debra, Keshana Scott, Gerkeria Scott and Ger'Rokeo Scott), Chancey (Chang) Scott and a GANG of other cousins; special friends, Demetrius (Knot) Jenkins, Mark (Shay) Bridgeman, Kelvin (Pitt) Caldwell, Sammie (Dub sack) Oglesby, Donovan (Black cat) Rivers, Roderick (Grip) Rivers, Bernard (Michael White) Pendleton, Antonio (Tony) Johnson, Kenneth (Fat Kent) Daniels, Kevin (Whistle boy) Webb, Remus Bulmer, Eric (Cleve) Fullwood, Timothy (Kool-Aid) Fullwood Timothy (Dog man) Johnson, Ellis Daniley, Eric Adams, Onton Crawford Kangy Johnson, and Verna Jones; special friends, David Gay and Marlon Wright; special families, Jaguars La Familia, Belmont Height Family, Ponce De Leon (24), and the entire city of Tampa!
