Sister Pansy was born on November 9, 1918, and was the fourth oldest of seven siblings of Fannie and Harry Nelson of Orange Bend, Florida. Sister Pansy was united in marriage to Elmer Williams in March 1943. The couple moved to Tampa in 1944. There were no children born into this marriage, but the Lord blessed them with 13 children and grandchildren: Virginia, C.J., Doris, Jimmy Lee, Lavanda, Cordelia, Dian, Sandra, Michael, Charlene, Reginald, Gail and Sheila. Her other survivors are: 2 nieces, Clarice W. Smith and Mary G. Pansy Williams was retired from the State of Florida after 34 years of service and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of College Hill until her health began to fail. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
