Obituary

Homegoing Memorial celebration for Mrs. Paris Simone Ford who passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, will be held Saturday, March 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd with Reverend Arthur Bryant, officiating. Paris was born August 2, 1963 to George Wynn and the late Mae Helen Williams in Live Oak, Florida. She enjoyed going fishing, shopping, cooking playing card and board games and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Helen Thomas; sisters, Faye Encinosa and Clara "Dean" Jerkins; maternal grandparents, Simon and Mazie Williams; paternal grandparents, Richard and Carritha Wynn. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with special mother who raised her, Lula Davis; ex-husband, Greg Jackson; daughters, Amber McPherson (Ervin), Alecia Jackson (Cedric Peek); grandchildren, Jayden and Jackson McPherson, Khalil and Daijon Peek; brothers, Jerome Gibson, Jerome Davis (Cassandra) and Tony Davis; sisters, Mychell Robinson (Reginald), Cynthia Thomas, Vicki Davis and Latrece Owens (Robert); nieces, Tennille, Keisha, Shana, Remy, Renee` and Melanie; nephews, Willie, Emmanuel and Robert; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
