Patricia Ann Wells Hall was born August 16, 1947, in Plum Branch, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of Mary Frances Martin Wells and the late George Willie Wells, Sr. She departed this life and answered the Master's call on Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Tampa, FL.
Mrs. Hall was educated in the public schools of McCormick, S.C. and Ft. Pierce, FL. She graduated from Lincoln Park Academy, "Class of 1965," Ft. Pierce, FL. Patricia was also a graduate of the Ft. Pierce Beauty Academy – Cosmetology School. She was previously employed with Hollywood Federal Savings and Loans and retired from Humana Health Care as an Enrollment Specialist after more than twenty years of dedicated service.
Sister Hall joined Greater Mt. Carmel A.M.E. Church in the 1980's and served as the church Administrative Assistant for several appointed pastors. She was the gifted and creative chairperson of the "Church Decorating Ministry," for all holidays and special occasions. Patricia was also a member of the Choir, the Board of Stewards, and remained a faithful and dedicated member until her death.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Hall was also preceded in death by her siblings, George Willie Wells, Jr., Jack and Jill Wells, Carolyn Wells and Mildred Wells Blair.
Those who will forever cherish her fond and precious memories are her husband, Harold L. Hall of Tampa, FL; her mother, Mary Frances Wells of Plum Branch, SC; her son, Anthony (Tonya) Wells, Tampa, FL; one grandson, David Whitaker, Groveland, FL; one great granddaughter, Amiya Whitaker of Dallas, TX; three great grandsons, Davion Whitaker, Dallas TX; Ishan and Eyan Whitaker, Groveland, FL; two loving sisters, Josephine Ramsey and Georgia Wells, both of Plum Branch, SC. In 1963, after a brief stay in Ft. Pierce, FL; Sister Hall's family decided to returned to Plum Branch, SC. Patricia was allowed to remain in FL and was adopted by her Uncle Frank and Aunt Theresa Martin (both deceased). Patricia was a cherished and loving member of the family. She accepted her new responsibility as big sister to Vivian (deceased), Judy (Tampa), Tonda (Pt. St. Lucie), Wonda (Tallahassee), Frank Jr. (Ft. Pierce), Ronald (deceased), Dennis (deceased), Daryl (Tallahassee), Kenny (Tallahassee) and Michael Martin (deceased) eagerly. Pat was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who was compassionate and benevolent to others. Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love that will be remembered by all who loved and knew her. Patricia Ann Wells Hall will truly be missed by a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces; special friends, and other caring relatives and dear friends, whom loved her dearly.
