A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Patricia Grooms-King, of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2020, will be held Saturday October 24, 2020 at1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating.

Our beloved, Patricia Grooms-King was born in Donalsonville, Georgia on November 30, 1947. Sheloved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie James and Katie Bell Grooms; husband, Ronald King; son, Reginald King and sister, Ann Grooms.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her son, Ronnie King (Felicia); granddaughter, Breah King; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda, Wanda, Sharon (Clifton), Vicki (Jafar), Stephanie (Daryl), Debra and Christina; brothers, Reginald (Lavern), Tony (Dorothea), Jason (Bridgette) and Archie; 17 nephews; 6 nieces; and a host of great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; special devoted friends, Cynthia, Josephine, Lisa, Delores, Mrs. Parker and Mrs. McCloud. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The family will be present from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
