A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Paul Height, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 will be held Saturday, May 30th, 11:00 a.m., at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Elder Benjamin M. Curry, pastor officiating. The interment will be held Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Paul was born June 28, 1942 in Millen, Georgia to the late Robert and Bertha Height. He graduated from Burgess Landrum High School in 1960. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country from 1967-1969. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Height; parents and brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Paul Height, Jr. (Sharon), Reginald Height, Sabrina Height and Coloyer Brown; grandchildren, Paul Height III (Gina), LaBrina Height (Fred) and Rodrick Height (Brittny); great-grandchildren, LaQuess Height, Shylah Height, Novian Bogan, YaNaviah Bogan, Israel Bogan, Jaylan Height, Paige Height and Rylee Height; nieces, Mary Pittman (Ethel), Barbara Ann Watson, Barbara Jean Watson, Jennie and Stephanie Paige; nephews, Ronnie Watson, Earl Watson, Isreal Watson, Billie Watson, James Watson, Donnie Watson and Jerome Man; special friends, Bobby and Cleo Anthony and Jacky Haynes; a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends during the visitation.
