A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Pauline Gunn Ferrell Bulger of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida at 5:04 p.m., the new spirit soared on the wings of her comforter and now is at rest, will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 11:00 a.m. at Life Spring Baptist Church, 912 E. Fairbanks St., Rev. Dr. Bobby Ray Patton, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Mrs. Pauline Gunn Ferrell Bulger was born December 24, 1942 to the late Mannie Gunn, Sr. and Allie Mae James Gunn in Quincy, Florida. My mother was devoted wife, loving mother all about her family. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister and Christian attended Carter Paramore High School, Quincy, Florida the class of 1961. She attended Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida 1962-1963; worked at Upton Hall Ohio State University 1963-1982; University Community Hospital, Tampa, Florida 1982-1997; after her medical career she retired and volunteered, grandparent at Robles Elementary School. She was dedicated to church ministry, Senior Women Ushers Board, Tuesday Prayer Warriors, her community work will be missed. She was a part of the Jazzy's Seniors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Lee Bulger; brothers, Eugene, Tommy and Mannie, Jr.; sister, Syneda and grandson, Kobe Ferrell. She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her loving and devoted daughter, Jennifer Marie Ferrell-Maddox of Tampa, Florida; three sons, Larry Darnell Gunn (Deborah) of San Diego, California, David Lamare Gunn (Joyce) of Gibsonton, Florida and Marvin Ferrell, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Dorian, Jenaie, Terrell, Jaleah and Jessica; great-grandchild, Nevaeh; four sisters, Lillie B. Smith, Martha J. Beavers of Quincy, Florida, Shirley G. Anderson (Dea. Alphonso) of Tampa, Florida,and Joyce E. Gunn of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Aucilla Gunn and Albert Gunn of Quincy, Florida, Melvin Gunn, Sr. of Tampa, Florida and Louis S. Gunn of Columbus, Ohio; a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her. The visitation will be held at Life Spring Baptist Church on Friday, February 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
