Homegoing services for Mrs. Pauline Jewell of Tampa, who passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013, will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Martin Luther King Blvd. Baptist Church, 1904 E. M.L.K., Jr., Blvd., Rev. Joseph Reed, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Pauline was born August 23, 1928 to Virgina and David Hoskins in Shelby, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jewell, son, George Jewell, Jr., brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Jewell and William Morris and 2 grandsons, Kevin Carter and Tylon Jewell. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with her sister, Ruby Morris; daughter, Juanita Alexander, Sara Stokes, Barbara Hicks, Gwendolyn Jewell and Eva Jewell; sons, Gerald Jewell and Paul Jewell; 28 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
