Pauline
Mcwilliams
December 4, 1927 – January 15, 2024
Mrs. Pauline McWilliams was born on December 4, 1927, to Johnnie Young and Theresa (formerly Young) Williams. In earlier years, she attended Hillsborough County schools. Pauline married Mr. M.D. Keith. She was a long-standing member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church and the renowned No. 3 Choir, under the pastorship of Elder R.H. Howard.
In later years, Pauline married Josh McWilliams. She transferred her membership to Beulah Baptist Institutional Church and became a member of the Mothers Board and Sanctuary Choir, under the pastorship of Reverend W. James Favorite, and currently under Pastor Alan Harris. In both churches and around the community, she was well known for her contralto voice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Young and Theresa Williams; husband, Josh McWilliams; and sister, Allie Mae Leonard. She leaves cherished memories to her daughter, Ernestine Keith; granddaughter, Rhonda C. Keith; one distant but loving branch of her family tree, the Banisters of Rochester, NY; and one beloved 4-legged great grandpup, Moose.
Special extended family include the Burroughs (Bowie, MD), Hines (Landover, MD), Brown (Birmingham, AL), James (Orlando, FL.), and Neal, Sheared, Howard, Bolden, Brown, and Perkins families (Tampa).
