Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Peggy Lee McNeil of 2510 Central Ave. Apt 215 who passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009, will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 11:00 a.m., Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, Pastor Earl B. Mason, Sr., Th.D., officiating. Peggy Lee McNeil was born September 13, 1948 in Tampa, Florida and was educated in the schools of Hillsborough County. She enjoyed singing, dancing, pottery, listening to jazz and cooking. She was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Bludsaw, III, grandmother, Annie D. Williams and Herman Telfair, III (Tiger). She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Bennie Pollard, Jr. (Shacoyia Safford), Pamela Telfair-Bennett and husband, Derek of Marietta, GA, Antonio Bludsaw, Tasha McNeil, Nicole McNiel (David Poole) and Kim Mack (goddaughter); grandchildren, Bennie Pollard, Jr., Jamarius Pollard, Thanyevia Pollard, Ashley Pollard, Schnavia Tolbert, O'Marris Edwards, Jalicia Edwards, Amberia Edwards, Sherwood Daymond, Jr., Zavion Campbell, Zakyla Campbell and Zion Poole; great grandchildren, Yadah Pollard and Shakeal Bryant, Jr., parents, Inez Newton and Herman Telfair, Sr., brothers, Herman Telfair, Jr., Andre Stevenson and wife, of Chatham, NJ; sisters, Patty-Ann Youngblood (Randy Kelly), Vickie Wilson (Willie Hill) and Emma King; godsisters, Barbara Edwards and Barbara Jean Welden; aunt, Annie Suttle; uncle, Jerome Lawson (Uncle Pop) and Ella Mae of Miami, FL; nieces, Sonja Telfair, Alicia (Rae-Rae) Telfair and Shantalette Telfair (Meme); nephew, KenAndre Telfair; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
