Percival, affectionately nicknamed, "Percy", was born on December 22, 1931, in Antiqua, British Caribbean Island, to Henry Galloway and Jestina Nicholas. His favorite activities were listening to gospel music, playing dominoes, and watching sports such as football and basketball.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Elton Jackson; parents Henry Galloway and Jestina Nicholas; brothers, Norvelle Williams, and Foster Galloway; sisters, Jennifer Jonas, Queen Elizabeth Henry, and Yvonne Galloway.

He leaves precious memories with his children, Dawn Galloway, Ora Parker, and Percival Galloway, Jr.; ex-wife, Roberta Galloway; grandchildren, Dale Mathias, Ramone Gray, Dalia Mathias, Jamar Gray, Latasha Singfield, Cheyrron Jackson, Chiquita Parker, Ronnie Jackson, Jr., and Rodney Jackson; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ira Galloway, Bernard Galloway, and George Galloway; sisters, Ophelia Thomas and Cora Galloway; dearest friend, Rena; family friends, Crazy and Brenda; and a host of other loving relatives, cousins, and friends.
